Cool. And if it's all tight and good, then? I can run it as is and just go faster over the washboard to maybe lessen the rattling around or is there another issue at play? I mean even my Tacoma runs rough over that same road.

Honestly, I didn’t think the shifter shake was that bad.
Aren’t you collecting parts to put a NP-205 in that rig ?
You could swap that 203 and shifters out for a 205 setup and you will no longer have a problem with the 203 shifter wiggles ; ya might still have the wiggles with the 205 stuff but at least that’s a different problem - sort of…

You will want to be able to air up for high speed travel on the roads after.
