I put an old box in the back of my Jimmy with two 12" Kickers and two 6.5" Clarions...The 12's are on a 45degree angle on top and the 6.5's are vertical in front. Amp is in the center console. I have the speaker box against the tailgate with the subs facing me up front, however my friend says the box he had installed in his Yukon GT was installed with the box against the rear seatback with subs facing to the rear so sound will deflect off of the tailgate/rear window. What's everyone doing with there boxes? I'd like to hear what everyone thinks before I remount it. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Cheers.

By pointing them rearward you will have a 3dB gain, it is worth the time and effort. The same is true for hatchbacks that bounce it off off the glass or cars that put the box under the rear deck pointing to the rear.
