Wanted K5 NP 241 transfer case skid plate

What year is your rig?
82 frame and drivetrain mostly. originally had the 208 in it but i have a 241 now.
So then what crossmember / adapter ?
I know that I have one from a '90 K5.
That would be for the crossmember that is dropped under the front driveshaft and raised on the left side. The 208 usually had a more flat crossmember .
But I may be wrong . . .

Three different crossmembers between 81 to 91. Post up a pic of yours in order to get the correct 'plate.
I would be interested in a skid plate for a "W" cross member with 208 case. Not sure if that is the same plate as the "S" shaped cross member or not. The driveshaft side looks similar enough.

87 up to 91 are all interchangeable.
Even though the 85 to 91 have similar shaped 'members there is a slight variation between the two that allows their specific 'plate to fasten to them. As I've stated many times with people looking for a 'plate, post up a pic of your crossmember just to make sure you get the correct skidplate.
Here is a pic of mine. My trans is 700r4 & the 241 bolted in the same as the 208.
I should have that from my cucv. Flat crossmember with mostly flat skid plate.

You have a double hump or 'W' crossmember and need a skid plate from any factory civilian 85-86 or 87-89 carbureted one ton. No CUCV.
I had one off my 89 K5 with the w crossmember and np241. I'll have to see if it went to the scrap pile when I get home.

No, my crossmember has a flat mounting surface. yours is curved for the curvy crossmember. Thx anyway.
Is that the same curve as a W cross member, or is that just an illusion?
