K5 project

When I eventually get K5,I'm going start buid-up.Mostly it's gonna be used as a daily driver,occasional 'wheeling,and maybe once in a month or so I go drive safari.Safaris last about two,three days(nights included),and terrain is everything you can imagine.Forrest roads,rocks,sand,swamps,mud,river crossings,snow(winter),

So,this is what I have in my mind for first to do:
K5 w/diesel and autotranny

-33" BFG A/T
-3" lift
-Beefy bumpers w/tow hooks and winch mount
-pair of off-road lights,and high power back-up lights
-rear disk brake conversion
-skid plates
-rear shackle flip
-air compressor
-bumper mounted spare tire carrier
-modified rocker panels
-tranny cooler

In a future,engine gets a turbo,and when I find a proper donor,D60 and FF14 goes under the truck.

And for daily driving,killer stereo system!
Is there anything you would do differently/left out/more...?
I appreciate all comments.

I'm too lazy to stick shift,that's why I prefer autotranny.

Winch was in my mind too,I forgot to mention it.I was thinking PTO-winch up front, and later electric rear.I'm just not sure that will PTO work with autotranny?

Oh,also steering box brace and Borgeson shaft are on first to do list.

Diesel has dual batterys anyway,and I have only good to say about Optimas,so I guess they gonna find their way to engine compartment.

I'm too lazy to stick shift,that's why I prefer autotranny.

why a/t's? In my experience, bfg m/ts last almost as long as the a/ts and you actually get some traction. Bravo buckshots and the tamer bravo wear like iron. Most of the folks that I know that got a/ts first stepped up to m/ts very quickly after that. Just curious...

It's gonna be used mostly as a daily driver,and almost half a year here is more or less slippery (icy) roads.My friend had M/Ts on his K20,and he said that it's scary thing to drive on icy road.But when I can afford,I buy set of Swampers and use them when I go longer off-road trips.I was surprised that Swampers don't cost not much more here than what they are there in U.S.
Not sure,but maybe those 10-bolts last little longer if tire tread is not too agressive...
