If i was going to replace my seats in my 88 k5 with new seats what would you all recommend. I want to stay in the 0 to 600 price range but still want good products

those are really nice what websites ban i get them from, i am also needing front and rear seats

I put 5 point PRP high backs like in the project UAV on this site. For the back I havn't decided yet. I absolutely love them. Or corbeau and mastercraft, beard make great seats too!

I just put leather high back buckets in my '80. Paid $100 canadian for the pair used, made brackets to mount in the factory holes. pretty cheap and easy. don't know about the rear though. maybe just get it recovered with new foam.

i got some Cloth ones out of new Chevy Van for 25.00 at the local yard, they are grey but will be black soon.

the brackets from the stock seat just needed some enlarged mounting holes and some washers to bolt right on to the stock sliders and bracket.

ebay - search for seats from new Tahoes, Silverados, Denalis, etc.... If you get the newer seats (01/02ish) they have the integrated seat belts which makes the mod even easier.

I got a leather seat kit from Summit for $650 last year, but I see they're up near $800 now. They're comfortable and were pretty easy to install.

would those seat move up enough to allow access to the rear tho? what about captain style chairs out of a van?

Seat options

I used '89 LaBaron turbo power seats.

Got them from a wreck for $150 and the power works.
Very comfortable and hold you in place well.

Now I need to recover them.

EDIT: Sorry didn't think about access to the rear mines a 'Burb.
