k5 sound system

Yeah I know but most of my last post was copy and paste specs there I made a good well thought out sentences yea hahahahaha.:k5:

Lanzar and boss are in the same category now pretty much. It sounds like it'd work but as I say, try the deck by its self first. Go to onlinecarstereo.com and look into Infinity Kappa's for your speakers. About $160 for all 4 but WELL worth it. Also if your dead set on an amp, Look into the Pioneers for that too. You dont need 250w a channel for the type of listening your talking. I put a 100w/ch Audiobahn intake series in my burb, (only because the JBL GTO speakers I bought turned out to be 2ohm:doah:) and with the deck less than half way and the gain about half on the amp ITS LOUD!!

As for the oval or round thing :dunno: Ive always liked the sound of a 6x9 over 6.5's myself..... Nothing wrong with oval. tried and true design for automotive audio. better midbass too

By the way, that amp I have is only $100 on onlinecarstereo also :waytogo: I'd take it over a boss or lanzar anyday.

Thanks for the good info the only reason I was thinking the 250w by 4 @4ohms was because my sub undle that comes with loaded sub box amp and amp wirering kit is rated the same wattage so i was mach the power rattings and the 6x9 i am interested in are rated 300w max a speaker and 92db a speaker and they a very wide frequencey range i will be checking out that site you recomened and also would like ideas on mounting the sub box so it cant move brackets bolt mount to fkoor or side pannel dont matter to much just as long as it says put thanks.:k5:

Was checking out online car stereo and found some nice 4 channel class a/b amps that I liked but now i want to know a few things first mounting sub box mount to floor or mount side pannel or mount to floor and side pannel and second for rear 6x9s rather then cut the side pannel I was thinking get get some odd shaped 6x9 boxs and mount them on wheel wells last is good or bad to power match amps and by that I mean the main 4 channel amp and the sub amp have the same rms wattage thanks.:k5:

you can just make a flat plate covered in carpet and cover the 4x10 hole back there. no need to cut just stick the magnet through the hole. may have to double thick the wood

size your amps to whatever they are running. doesn't matter if they match. you can run a 1000w sub amp and deck power for the fullrange and still not over run them. all depends on the stuff you get.

Thanks for the great in but cant use it because my truck dose not have the 4x10s in the or rear and has no side pannels only plastic inside is the kick pannels every thing elss is metal it because it is a customdeluxe or because it is a 1978.:k5:

ah... my old military burb was so bare the rear sides were solid stamped steel with no cutouts for anything lol. didn't keep it long enough to care:rolleyes:

Yup sounds just like k5 it may be bare but I beleave it has just about every avalable option you could get on the custodeluxe model only things it dose not have is power windows power locks and tilt wheel i replaced the solid window top with a sliding window top.:k5:
