went wheeling the other day and i was following my friends around and i decided to hit this hole... well the hole hit me and i didnt end up making it far

water started creeping through the driver side and got my books and bookbag all muddy. two k5s hooked up and got me out first try.

you guys are ballsy, i kinda look at water crossings like cliff jumping, if i dont know how deep it is, i dont do it. but then again, im "that" guy that goes wheelin by himself, so i usually play it safe.

that being said, if theres ever a jeep wrangler around, i get them to go first, they're like mikey they do anything. works out well, and if they get stuck, i know i can at least pull them out, not sure it would work the other way around.

I once tried to follow a small suzuki with 31's after he made it through a hole, and basically did the same things as you! Except I had water almost to the top of my transmission tunnel and had to completely strip down my interior, get a new starter, o2 sensor, axle seals, and clutch.

Were you lucky enough to not break anything?

nothing broke!! only once i got out of hole for some reasoni shut off my truck.. so i had to wait for my starter and a few bangs of a hmmer to get going again.. this was about an hour before i had to goto work haha

the other k5 out there had a flat then his tire came off the bead but no one broke anything
