were did you get your front shackle from?

The shackles are made from 2" flat strap, 3/8" thick.

I made them myself and as nonesuch mentioned, i made them from 2x3/8 strap. I reinforced them like an "H"

How far can the front axle be pushed forward before you have steering linkage problems (lets assume you have "standard" crossover, low tie rod)? What do you do to counter this (other than full hydro steering)?

you know I actually used to worry about this before I made the swap. but I haven't seen any issues. In fact, 77mudbuddy (see pics of the blue blazer on first page) even has a zero rate installed up front for another 1 1/2 inches, and no problem for him either. you just have to make up a little differene in the draglink but there is no rubbing or anything to worry about.

micah u ever go to spring creek? in spring,texas. lots of fun there u should check it out, maybe enter the competions they have. one in febuary and one in july. pm me if u want more info
