kert/ diy4x does it again

no, you got me on that one, no zerk. i could always add one easy enough if i wanted too though. there is one major problem though, thats greasing the outside of the bushing, not the inside where its needed. to grease the inside of the bushing you have to drill holes in it and i dont really like that idea. im sure it can be done though.

also if im breaking greasable 9/16" bolts, somethings wrong.

i have seen and herd of 1/2 grade 8 grease bolts breaking, but no havn't herd of 9/16 grease bolts breaking. BUT the zerk fittings are prone to being snaped off or damaged by rocks. also the 1 1/2 bushings im using are flutted on the ID for grease and I also flute the OD of the bushing so the bushing will get grease between its OD and the shackle ID bore so it does not squeak. the steel sleeve that goes in the bushing is also drilled to allow grease into the bols to lubricate it too. when I made my alum/ti shackles i tried to think of all possible problems that might be encountered then tried to solve those problems with its design, hense the no zerk fittings exposed, and everything gets grease.
