the th400 in my m1008 has almost perfectly identical damage. also broke the entire front output off the 208, and sheared the chain inside. Ripped a hole in the floor board, caught some auxilliary wiring that had been added, shorted out, and lit the carpet on fire. A good chunk of the incab wiring is gone, theres a big burned out hole in the floor, and the thing is still bleeding tranny fluid 6 months later.

sucks for volcanoes national park, rocks for me. d60/14bolt, 6.2, and lots of good parts for me for a steal of a deal.
