I want to remove the top on my 91 but I need the some seat belts for a car seat. Anyone out there have a recommendation?

Looks like there's a bolt location from the stock belts...just the top anchor will be removed with the top.

You could convert to an 89-early 90 style (no rear shoulder belt), but you need a new back seat to do it. The seat had built in retractors in it, and then you need to two outboard buckles that bolt the the floor/wheel well side.
Easy if you had a suitable donor.

But then that's not any different than the center belt position you already have, which is only lap belt so, now I'm confused? I know most car seats these days are designed to be used only with shoulder belts, so is that what your trying to do? Remove the top and keep a shoulder belt back there?
Roll cage is your only optoin there.

If anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated, I am trying to get the same question answered, I will be happy if I could at least get them to work as lap belts.

You can get just the lap belts for a 5-point harness setup. They make them in versions that attach to the floor or to a cage. Summit has 'em for $38 black, $43 other colors.

That's what I'm getting for when I take the doors off to wheel. Keeps me restrained and allows me to lean out of the truck.
