Ok, I have a front D44 axle out of a 75 blazer that's built up pretty good with Dana 5.38 gears, Detroit locker, Dutchman motor sports inner axle shafts and Dana U joints...all new and fresh. It's going in my 94 4runner:) which weighs about 4100 as it sits with 35" BFG MTR's. What is the largest size tire i can run w/out it blowing up? i'm in limbo of either the 38.5" or 36" TLS SX's or standard TSL's. And yes i wheel my truck... so it's gotta hold up, not just look pretty. I figure you guys would know better than anyone else! thanks!

i'd stick with the 36" to keep breakage down to a minimum. Some CTM's would help you run bigger sucessfully.

SXs are heavy for their height... put the rig on a diet and run some Iroks on light AL rims... that'll help your front end hold up better than anything else. Thought, CTMs wouldnt be a bad thing either, lol!
