i thought the only diffrence was internal or external balance?
In wich case the the internal balance has nothing on it, external has some weights welded to it.

As in 1piece vs. 2piece seal engine .
The bolt holes are closer together on the 1 piece flywheel and there should be a big area where a cast in weight because of balancing.

Flywheel or flexplate?
Correct 1 pc vs 2 pc seal and I'm talking flywheel not flex plate. So it sounds like if the bolt spacing is different than it is a no brainer. Thanks for all the input.
