I currently have a 350-203 combo that I am pulling and replacing with the 400-205 combo I just bought. The issue is the mounting bracket where it currently sits and will it work with the longer late model th400-205 (round adapter).

I can make my own adapter and all but I would hate to spend the time to do so and find out I can pick up a used one from the pick and pull.

So will my current mount work or do I need to pick up a different one.

If you have this adapter:

I have the cross member for you, it's called the W or the double hump.
It goes up to meet the shorter adapters of the later model, which clears a spot for the driveshaft to go under the crossmember.

This is what the underside of my truck looks like I am wondering if I can use the stock Trans mount with the 400 after I clean it up.

The pipes are rubbing right now because the engine is out.

Am I still going to need the w crossover?

Thanks again for any help.
