Has anyone here disassembled a leaf spring to paint it? Is there anywhere i can buy the little nylon shims at the ends of the leaves that prevent them from making noise?

Spring shops carry them, you can also get a roll of adhesive fusion material but it's really pricy. You'll have you trust me on that one

ahh i see. Maybe i should reuse the old ones if they are in good shape.

are there even spring shops out there? how would i go about finding one lol
yellow pages / search internet / elmira spring works in elmira next town over / allied spring in east syracuse both same company owner . and few others around here.

Spring shops are few and far between round here it seems. I paid a few bucks each at the shop I bought mine at. I was not happy about paying 3 bucks for a little square piece of plastic X 10 or how ever many I bought at the time.
