Leaf Spring Question

combo of center pin loose and ubolts not tight . comon on old rigs. take i big hammer and hit it back and see if it moves again if so get new center pin and ubolts .

Having your overload spring shift like that is common. I think it's caused by the contact surface between the spring and spring perch not being clean as well as the Ubolts not having proper clamp load due to low torque on the nuts. Those blocks aren't helping things, either. Knock your overloads back straight and if you have 5/8 Ubolts torque them to about 225 ft/lbs. If you have 9/16 Ubolts, back off to about 190.
