Sounds good! I would like all the lights to match even though like classic look seeing is more important to so would like to get this done with in the next month. Which wires did you reverse the green and black wire's? Anything special to remove them from connector? I have not looked to be honest at my headlight harness.

the ones parallel to each other is what i did to make them work but ill try and get em to work low and hi like there saposed to in the morning

Nice! Thanks for all the info you helped alot of guys out here on this subject.

Getting ready to make a 1200 mile round trip in about 1.5 weeks in the K20, so I ordered up a set since I will be travelling mostly in the hours of darkness. Looking forward to seeing the improvement.

top one is brights, bottom is low beam. i wonder what the brightness is going to be with all 4 led lights in there

A cop won't/ can't stop you for how bright they are. There isn't anything in the states' laws that I know of limiting light output. Plus they have no way of measuring brightness so it couldn't enforced anyway. You could be stopped for misuse of high beams though, so make sure you aim them properly to avoid being hassled.

Yeah - there is a law on the total Lumens allowed, so don't go making these 'factoids' up on the fly. It's a Federal law that is in effect whether the City/State or Federal cop and then the inspector chooses to enforce it in your neighborhood or not..

You are then on the hook to try to get the ticket signed off by a Lamp Inspector or Inspection Station - which I was - both!

As far as retrofit HIDs without the aiming motors - it's totally illegal and I've seen CHiPs (in California and AHPs in Arizona) red tag a vehicle with them installed for getting in the cop's eyes --- either in his mirrors or on the other side of the road - then the cop has the vehicle seized by an tow-impound yard.

BTW: lights are the biggest citation device for a 'stop-and-frisk' pullover that a cop can use. If you're carrying - then at least try to maintain the look of a legal vehicle.

Paying the fine - fixing the lights back to OEM --- and then after paying the impound fee, getting a Brake and a Lamp and a Smog inspection - since the registration went into limbo while it was red-tagged - is a lot of $$$$$$ and time.
