Here's my 350 just before I installed it back in 2009. It is a 350 with comp XFI roller cam and AFR 180 heads with a 454 TBI unit and Flowtech shorty headers.

Thanks, it definately gets the job done. Makes about 400hp and 530tq. I built it for low end torque and that I have.

Awesome  what kinda mileage you get with your setup? With a roller cam setup and tbi i would be pretty darn close with the heads i just bought.

I'm pretty much only driving in town and depending on how heavy my right foot is I get between 7-8mpg, when I have done a highway run up to Reno I got 11.5mpg and about half of the miles was climbing the Sierra's. I guess the mileage isn't bad for a 6000lb pound rig with that kind of power under the hood.

My 408 sbc :D

No fun till your over 400 CI

Soon to get some patrit 2.02 1.60 180cc aluminum heads and a much bigger cam :D

I had this oil pan on an old truck id pull it off as soon as you can, mine had no baffling and would starve the engine of oil pressure in turns. also if it ever contacts anything the aluminum will crack and leak instaed of bending like steel.

Hmm. Never had any oil pressure issues with it in the year its been running. And i climb lots of steep hills at the dunes :dunno: still has 35-40 psi sitting on a steep incline. And im not really worried about it hitting anything, i run in the sand primarily. But thanks for the heads up. If i pull it this winter to change some stuff ill look at it.
