LETS POST PICS OF OUR 350's!

What is the application of this motor? That power steering resevoir to pump hose looks perfect for my set up.

'86 C20 Suburban. I think the fact that it has dual smog pumps might make a difference to find that hose, one of the pumps is up there where you often find the steering fluid reservoir.

haha--sexy wires.

What plug wires are those? They are soo perty :D

They are the Taylor Wires.
Not sure but I think they had something to do with the old Jacobs stuff..??
If anyone knows for sure, let me know.

Worked great at first but didn't like the close proximity to the ceramic coated headers.

Not as pretty as yalls, but its a 350 on pane.

your build

doon thats awesome ! whats your trans cooling setup like ? i can see the hoses and all up front on the pic ,but where does everything get plugged into in the front ? trans cooler w/ fan or ....?

The sticker on the truck says 350 and the smog guy acts like it is a 350 (I'm pretty sure the rumble and looks have convinced him it has 56 extra cubic inches).

I had a 350 then a 383 and now it is a 406. It is a cross between the Impersonator I and Impersonator II engines from CHP. 10:1 compression comp cams 270 magnum cam (224/224) tons of work on heads and intake for flow, pistons 5 thousands out of holes for a quench of about 35 thousandths, thermal barrier coatings, and tons more.

CHP got 525 ft. lbs. of torque and 420 hp from the Impersonator I engine. My 406 blows away the performance of the 383, which had the same intake, heads, rockers, push rods, etc., but with the edelbrock parts in stock form.
