I scored a set of seats from a Honda Prelude and will be installing them in the next week. I was just curious how you all went about making brackets to mount your seats. My idea was to get some 1/4" strap steel and make a base for the floor and a base for the seat then use some 2" box tubing to get the height I need... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Any other ideas?

U don't have pics but... for my seats I have two pieces of 4" aluminum I beam, one across the front stock seat bolts and one across the the rear. then two pieces of 2" U welded upside down to that running front to back to match up with the bolt pattern of the seats. hope that makes sense

I cut and shut my stock brackets and mated them to my recaros. Have a look at my profile pics but I don't think you can see them there. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
