Yes, it's bare metal now.....Hmmmm, chrome is a good idea
It'll be painted.
To keep the spare tire as low as possible. Plus the fuel cell is only 10 gallons so it's kind of small anyway. And it slopes the other direction so you can throw a muddy strap in there.
What are your plans for the front of the truck? tube it out?

One of the best flatbeds I have seen, and I actually hesitate to call it a 'flatbed' is made by Adventure Trailers. I would love to make something like this for a fullsize.
