Lets see those C/K30's....

This is neither a C or K 30 but hopefully I get a pass on it. Just acquired 1987 GMC V3500. I know what it is and also figured out what it was from day one. Here is some pertinent information for you to ponder:
style V30903
VIN 8th digit "N"
some option codes
YE9
NL2
E63
GT5
M20
R05
Z81

Bought it from same owner for nearly twenty years. New GM motor 7K ago. Oil undercoated every other year also for nearly twenty years. After inspecting for an hour or two, explained to prior owner things he did know about it's prior existence previous to those twenty years.

If those wheels were chrome dually wheels I would but, they are the simulators unfortunately.

My rig just came with simulators. To say I hate them is an understatement, loathe perhaps. Think about it.......simulator....Hmmmmm, (simulate, emulate, impersonate)...I don't think I want anything that would suggest simulate, emulate, impersonate, like hanging a copy of an Elvis impersonator on the wall!

I hate them but can't yet get rid of them. Wheels will look more scabby than if it never had any and I have brand new rubber.

That's cool of a group shot. I've wanted to do that with my 4 trucks and 2 chassis' but they're all tucked away in the 30x50 shop and only 1 door available to push them all back out of. Too much work.

Some beautiful trucks in this thread!!! Wish mine was pretty, LOL! Here's my project '86:

Was filled with construction trash inside and out when I got it:

This thread needs a bump just cause it's bad a$$ :D

Here is a pic of mine with the specs (or current build specs)

1989 V3500
8.1 Liter swap (was TBI350, 99% done with swap and almost running)
NV4500 swap (was TH400, completely done with this swap)
Round pattern NP205
60/14bff with 4.10 gears
Currently putting on 3" lift this weekend
Getting 285's with black aluminum rims (in the mail right now)
And will probably paint it all blue next year
Going to be used to tow my K5 crawler and just be a bad a$$ dependable truck
