Honestly, I've spent more times around the camo green ones than the civy ones...they are a bit of a rare bird.

i bought it friday:D its '85 k30 6.2/400/205 60/14 with 4.10s and trac-lock in 14b. 8" susp 3" body and 39.5" boggers on 16.5x12 Eagle alloys. its way too tall, its going to eventually have 7" lift total and 39.5's or 42's on H1's. the paint is crap as well, so ill take care of that as well of course

K5's are half tons..... putting a D60 and 14BFF underneith one makes it a half ton with more unsprung weight.....

Here is a pic of my 86 K30 that I couldn't upload before. BTW I have decided to sell it.

Good to see there are fellow guys more interested in fixing up these trucks and making them into something nice than the opposite way...;)

i know putting 1 ton axles under my blazer dosen't make it a 1 ton but i was posting my k-30 tow trucks and figured i would post a pic of it as well:laugh:

There's another purty truck.

I better close this window before the wife sees it and suggests I make Big Ugly into Big Purty.

I like it a lot. How much are you asking or should I go check the for sale forum?

I paid $1000 for mine. It didn't come with with the 4" lift or the 35" tires but the body was totally straight, no rust, had low miles for the year and came with a rebuilt TH400. Stock paint was faded so I had it painted recently. I don't think the guy know what he had when he posted it on craigslist.
