The body's going to save an older 3/4 ton later on.

In all fairness thats an M1028 shelter carrier with the craptastic TracLok front diff. Amazingly it still works fairly well.

:D
Way too many M10whatevers parted out by the CK5 brotherhood :doah:
(I might feel this way 'cause I want one of each!)

was this one you built? if so how much mod was need to install the cab and bed on that beast?

pretty sure thats a lwb frame. Using a sub frame from what I have seen and been told, will make it close to the right length to use a factory short bed with a crew cab. Nice truck either way.

its a leer. and its mine :-D

That truck is amazing. we picked it up in LA sat. There is no rust the frame is amazing. the entire truck was taken care of.

Weird...the proportions...the wheels...weird...

I took it as a partial trade for a K5 I sold. I made the deal over the phone without seeing the truck. I was told it was a theft recovery that had been stolen and stripped.I had planned on raping the axles, parting it out, or just selling or scrapping the whole thing. It turns out it is only missing the motor, trans, and t case. And, whoever stripped it had enough care to not cut ANYTHING!! The wiring harness has been disconnected, the fuel lines were plugged and capped. The interior is complete and looks brand new. The body is straight and rust free. The glass is all perfect with no chips, cracks, or scratches. So, after seeing that the truck is in immaculate condition, I can't bring myself to cutting it up or taking it apart. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I could sell it as is. I might put a gas motor with a 465/205 in it and sell it. It's really tempting to make it my next project and do a cummins or duramax swap. I'm not sure quite yet what I'll end up doing with the truck
