heres my dually after i fixed the clearance lights, which is a PAIN. and apparently now i have a front grille light out

here is my recent v30 purchase.
tbi350/465/205/ 3.73s. stupid 3.73s.
no options. not even dome lamps. has guages though. was a goverment truck. has a tag riveted to the dash that says "department of interior" and has a number stamped in the tag. only has 155k on it. runs great and has quite a few new parts too. but apparently it's allergic to paint.
phase 1 plans are 6" lift front, shackle flip rear, air bags, paint, 4.88s and lockers, and these 11.0x16 michelin xzl's.
what do you think about stock wheels and caps?

here is your highway rpms with gear combos.
465/205/3.73/31.5" tire = 2586 @ 65mph stock setup
465/205/4.88/38" tires = 2805 @ 65mph
465/205/5.13/38" tires = 2948 @ 65mph
and if you are going to regear just go 5.13. then its over and done for later .

Here`s a pic of my 86, 1 owner truck, a constuction company...doh. All stock 86K, T400, dual tanks, 4.10`s. I need to fix the cracked frame, but truck is very solid, and rust free, for being a Boston plow truck for 25 yrs. I think I want to ditch the flatbed, and put a stock bed on, just picked up some 35`s on Hurricane`s...nice.

1BeatK5-Nice truck. I'm told the bad primer causes the paint allergy. Do you have a line on the Michelins? I'm having a hard time finding some.
I love the look of the stocker work truck w/hubcaps.
Str8axle55-That is clean for a Norteaster. I wish you were closer. I'm going to ditch my bed in favor of building a flatty dumper. I'll probably make a trailer with the bed.

Here is my lastest prize, 1991 V-30 DRW CC, 350 tbi 4L80/205, 4.10's, pwr windows, locks, air-(does'nt work) and cruise works. No rust in cab/front clip, box in pretty rough shape. Plans are camping/trail/tow rig.

str8axle55 nice rig. and incase you didnt know thats a fisher speedcaster plow frame on the front end of your truck. super strong tanks.

Bought it, changed the axles to a d44 and 14b with 4:10s, took out the d60,14b 456s with detroit locker and put them in my 83. Had to replace the brakes, exhaust, tierods, fuel/brake/oil lines, cab corners,rad support , doors...and much more to drive it every day. I drove it for 2 years, the 6.2 was a slug but good on fuel. I still miss that old truck, never let me down even when it was ten below..heres its last trip

Yup I know I have the rest of the plow, removed for the summer, and frame repair. Plow also needed general maint, all the bolts are loose, and needs paint. What are you running for front springs? Did you shackle flip the rear or block it?
Some real nice K30`s here, saw a few up in NH last Sunday, wish I took some pics.

i dont like those wheels that the 11.0s are on anyways. so stockers it will be. i just went threw this whole thread and the more i saw the stock caps the more i liked em.
as far as the michelins, i traded a dana 44 and a 231 transfercase for 5 of them from an old member, he says the guy he was getting them from no longer gets these, only the 46" and 53' now. bummer. i really like em, they would look real sick on a dually!

That truck is Bad A$$. The color looks fantastic on it. I`ve seen pics before, but that truck looks mean.
