We've got a drive in about an hour away from me in Stephens City Virginia, $8 for a double feature. right now we do the best we can with my jetta...
front seats all the way forward, all the way reclined, with the headrests off, sitting in the back seat. she misses my blazer, and everything it stood for, hence the reason im shopping around for one again
The nice thing about this drive in, is its location, on the drive out we started off at bull run park at the trap/skeet range...
where yes... she out shot me while wearing 5in platform heels and a dress... and it was her first time ever shooting a shotgun.
and then we hit up some wineries, hit up some back woods antique shops, had lunch at a small town diner, and enjoyed a drive through the mountains on our way to the theater. would have even hit up Luray caverns if we had planned the day better.
Ending the day at the drive in was just the perfect way to end a great day. Just an example for those who dont live "close" to a drive in, if you make a day out of it, and plan accordingly, it works out pretty kick ass. only hard part was the drive home at the end of the day, where of course she got to sleep
there should be many many more drive in theaters across the country.
