Lift and shock question

I have an 88 blazer & i'm currenty running a 6" suspension lift & my shocks are for a 5-8" lift. I was considering adding a 3" body lift, so would that mean I'll have to replace my shocks immediatly or could I still run with them on for now?

when you put a body lift on it doesnt effect suspension at all. your frame remains in the same location and so do your axles... only your body will be lifted. you wont need to replace the shocks.
