yes, i have seen the tire fitment list. was wondering if with the below set up i could run 35 inch tires with no trimming? truck is really clean so i am not willing to cut it but would like to run 35's.

i want to know if i would be able to fit 35x12.5 tires with a 4 inch front spring lift, shackle flip and re-centering zero rates, along with a 1 inch body lift?

would a 1 inch body lift cause any issues? i would assume it has to be easier and cheaper than getting the drive angles done and having drive shaft lengthened like i would with a six inch lift. i am not really a big fan of the body lift but if it could get me to clear the 35's with no trimming and not have any real consequences i think i may go that route.

another reason i am considering the body lift in addition to spring lift is that i am sure that my body mounts could be replaced at this point.

if you want to drive it on the street only then you will be fine.... maybe

I had 4in on 36x14.5 tires but they were only 34.5 tall. It hit bad on pavement right in the front 'fang" of the fender.

An extra 2 inches of lift would not have fixed it, and forget about offroad with it like that.

Offroad it is gonna hit the fenders.

Wheel backspacing as well as wheel width will play a factor. If you run an 8 wide wheel with like 3.5bs on that 35x12.5 it may just work

ah, well that sucks then and makes the hassle of putting a body lift on not worth it. if i was to just go with 33's i know it would be all clear.

what is with all the hate on 33 inch tires? do they not add enough clearance or ability over the stock 31 inch tires to justify the cost?

33s are not bad at all. they are just quite a bit smaller than most people like. the manufacture of tire makes a difference as well.

I had some 33in tsl thorbirds that were only 31 inches tall. It looked a little funny to me on 4in of lift, but i think a true 33 wouldnt be that bad.

Currently my truck has 33" tires and no lift. That set up is fine for the street, but I rub while wheeling a bit. I still have my sway bar on there, which helps keep the tires out of the fenders.

I'd be inclined to believe that with the proper backspacing, you could get away with the set up you described presuming you don't want to wheel it hard.

Also, here's a truck I had with a 4" lift and 35" MT/Rs. Only required a little trimming to fit them at full stuff. Didn't need to trim them for on road driving. No Sway bar.

With a 4" lift, zero-rate (1" of lift...you can't somehow just recenter the axle with a zero-rate and not lift it), and 1" body lift you should be able to clear a typical 35x12.50 tire without much of an issue. Enough flex will cause rubbing regardless because the fenderwells are smaller than the tires, but with the above lift and the swaybar still attached it probably won't rub.

I ran only a 4" lift with 35x12.50 tires on 15x10 rims with the swaybar disconnected and minor fender trimming and only had very, very slight rubbing if just the right situation off-road. The average person would never have known the fenders were trimmed.

I had a 4" spring lift to clear 33's, then I added a 2" body lift to clear 35x14.5s. To clear my current 38x15.5s I had to add 2" longer shackles (1" of lift), and a zero rate up front and a zero rate out back.
