lift kit

Well my wife suprised me with a new DD the other day. It is a 2004 GMC ext cab V8 2wd. My question is about putting bigger tires on it. I can fit 31 inch tires on it now but i want 33s on it. i only want to lift it 3 inches so 3 inch body lift or a 3 in fabtech suspension lift. its not going to be a wheeler. I just want it off the ground a bit i have never had a a 2wd truck so it is lower than i am used to. what do yall think?

I would just level it out and put as close to 33s as you can. I know a guy with a 2wd and 33s and no lift. I wouldn't waste any money on lifting it.
Now a SFA yes!

Can you get lift spindles for those things like what they do to lower them? that might be the easiest way to do it.
