lift laws...

Not the 13.6' part, but all trucks that are lifted must have mud flaps?

I can barley make it though my taco bell drive through, they have this thing that hangs down over the drive through, and I always hit it, but I never hit the actual roof above the drive through, not sure why they have the thing hanging down.
Actually -- max height for any vehicle is 13'6" in AZ. There are a lot of regs on heights of lights and reflectors. Max height for tail lights is 60". Headlights can't be higher than 54" from the ground.

Fog lamps have one limit (30" above the ground) and aux passing lights (42" off the ground) have another. I have not idea which is which.

A lot of states use the lights or bumper height to set max lift.

One more thing, watch out for that LEO from OK. Some wonder if he really is a cop. Maybe a wanna be or one of those teenage police explorers.:D

Just read through the law again and now they have changed it to lowest point on the frame, and based on Gross Vehicle Weight. So in the case of a K5 the limit is 26" to the lowest point on the frame. Cool I can add quite a bit of lift before I get into any trouble. But any vehicle that has been altered from original configuration must have mud flaps so that it can't throw debris on other vehicles. Man I can't tell you how many people are in violation of the law as it is written. They must cover the whole tire if it extends beyond the upper portion of the wheel well. Well at least my 33's are covered.
