lift,onetons and 40's are on...NEW PICS...PG 2

hey where'd you get the 2wd steering box (or 2wd sector shaft), pitman arm, knuckle, arm, draglink, etc. for your X-over?

Looks good, as far as the death wobble, I think you need the old washer trick. I say this because when I overhauled my 60, new everything, bearings, bushings, the works. I still had death wobble. Dont add too much preload or it will be difficult to steer and the wheel will not want to return to center very easily. I would start with one washer and go from there. Your springs may be shot, which bushings and springs are cheap enough, but it seems even new springs and bushings dont seem to cure the wobble for very long. Had another buddy that had the same problem after replacing springs and bushings and he did the old washer trick. That took care of it. Let us know how it works out. Clean truck by the way, diggin the foorteese. :wink1:

nice, glad to see the box go to use. let me know when ya want to add the ram, i have the ram and the lines for it too.

Your ride is friggen gorgious! Question about mounting the flowmasters verticle though? How much threaded shaft is left inside the drag link- you should have AT LEAST 1.75".

few things.

2nd= your rear springs are some kind of mess. the #2 and possible #3 leafs are to close to the eye. the pack should be a nice flow taper down to the over load. i bet those springs will ride better if rebuilt and fixed.

Not sure about this one. I've seen some springs like this. Only on the really heavy duty rigs. One tons with tow packages and such.

Looks to be alot of leafs in there but the clamps are still on the packs and fitting so kinda looks like they came with that many leaves. HUGE thick pack none the less.

If ya aint towing alot I'd be tempted to pull some of those out. See how it rides first though.

Looks great!
