I have a 1978 Blazer. Want to lift it with a 3'' lift kit springs front and back.
Will this allow me to use 33/12.50s? Also what is a good brand at a good price and who from?

Tuff Country is about the cheapest good quality lft kits. I am not sure if they have 3" lifts. They probably have 2", but I do not know about 3". If you really wanted 3", you could buy a 2", and then put some Zero Rates under those. A 2" lift would be plenty to fit 33" tires.

Tough Country makes 2, 3, 4" springs. BDS makes 2.5" and 4" springs. :D
I would LOVE to have any of those heights, my either manufacturer
thanks,
James

ok i want to put a 3" or 4" lift on my 78 blazer.
been looking at tough country. I want springs front and back.
have heard good and bad about them. hard to install, sag after a while, parts may or
may not be quality.no off roading mainley street driven.
please give me some suggestions on which way to go.

i have the tuff country ez ride springs and they are very good quality for the price, im very happy with them, they are soft, they dont really sag they "break in" and ride a little bit lower then they were new but they ride better. If you want some stiff ass springs that will be a true 4 inches as long as possible get some skyjackers.

Rough country-The name says it all. I would suggest using a 4 inch Tough Country spring in front and a shackle flip in rear. The ride is smooth:D .

I am installing a 4'' lift on 78 blazer 4x4.
the nuts on front side of rear leaf spring is partially hidden by the frame.
Any suggestions on how to get to them?
Any other tips on how to install would be great.

rough country are real stiff and dont sagg but dont felx much
tough countrys are the way to go in front and shackle flip rear

gettin ready to install 4'' lift springs front an back. stock springs are 52'' new measure 48''. will the shakles flip out enough to reach the new springs or is there a trick to bolting them up?

try using the search button, it will answer most if not all the questions you have on the subject:waytogo:

Stock rear springs are 52" long and stock fronts are 48" long. If you have 52s in front put them back in cause they flex like mad:D . Are you sure you are putting the right spring in the right location?

BDS is great too. The springs and components are lifetime replacement too. excludes shocks. Good heavy duty Military spring. I just ordered the Rough country6'. I should have ran it by the council first to find out more info on them, but what the hey it was not so expensive.
