Lil wheel big tire/big wheel little tire???

The only time a big rim is ok is for the huge tires 44+ because a smaller dis wheel will have too much sidewall flex and that equals bad road manners. I'm speaking from a dual use stand point where highway time is equal to or more than off road trail use. For a dedicated trail rig you need all the flex and floation you can get so a 15-16.5/44+ combo is the best in my opinion

i got 15s with 35s but they look small, maybe its cuz the tread is almost gone lol. but i think it depends on the wheel, tire and truck. but for the most part i would say small wheel big tire

35s on 17" H2 wheels.

No problem wheeling the trails or crawling the rocks and smooth as glass on the highway up to and including 80 mph. :D

It has been my experience that the more tire you have and less wheel, the more difficult it can be to get the tires to balance out nice and smooth. Taller wheels and smaller sidewalls just balance out better while also providing better on road handling. Too small a sidewall and you lose off road ability or damage wheels.

I've been running 16s and 38s for years because I'm poor...

One day though... 22's and 40's

Granted.. mine is more of a pavement princess than a play rig..

:doah: i just can't come to like that look on old sheet metal

Me either.

I have to admit that blue truck is interesting with its Cummins emblem and front & rear coil over / 4 link.
