Were your wheelwells covered in tar or some really nasty goop? What did it take to get it off, a wire brush on a grinder?

Oh yea. it was covered pretty bad. To get the big stuff off I heated it up with propane torch and scrapped it (you can see the brown/black burn marks. FOr the rest I used a paint stripper wheel on a cordless drill.

use goo gone. it works wonders. thats what i used when i herculined my tub and had that crap all over my wheel wells

IT'S DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just picked up a few minutes ago. Looks really good. Adds charactor to the inside for sure. Pics Coming.

Im going to paint the white portion Black, I didnt want them to line x this, as I wanted the door to "breath" like it should. Helps keep water and moisture from settling, line X wouldve clogged up the holes.

So far I like it. I tell you what though. YOu really need to plan out what your future goals are for your truck. I realized there are a couple brackets I wish I had removed prior to going. Honestly, as nice as the sides like, I dont know if Im going to put any panels up. As of right now I dont think I will. I do need to figure out a place for some speakers. the dash only ones arent cutting it. lol.

What did you pay? I just got a quote from an off brand vendor that uses a "HOT COAT HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM" just like Line-X for 550 under the rail. Said it included a full removal of paint and primer IF necessary. If not it would be just a scuff and spray for the same price. Looks great by the way!.

Mine cost $750. Nobody around would do it any cheaper. Most quotes were in the 850 range. Part of the high cost was that I didnt remove the top. made it harder. I didnt want it over the rail. for fear of the top not sealing up right. I know it was harder than they thought cuz of all the nooks and crannies.

Nice. I'd like to do the cab of my pickup eventually.
