LINE X Before and AFter pics!!!!!!!! COME LOOKSY !!!!!!

Looks great bro! :waytogo: Looks like they did a really good job spraying it, awesome man! I like how ya got the door bottoms to so ya don't have shoes scraping right there, very good point about not blocking those vents too! Question: have ya noticed it being quieter in your rig now?

On the speakers for the back: I've got a speaker idea for ya, I think what I am going to do is mount some marine speakers (waterproof) to the front upper corner below the top rail where my Jimmy has ashtrays right now, cut out the ashtrays and mount the speakers on brackets there. Waterproof since they are behind the halfcab top (right where it ends). IDK if that's something you'd want to do, just figured it'd be an idea for ya since you don't wanna run side pieces (neither do I). Like these speakers:

Man...here it is the week before finals and you have to go and get me all excited to get this done. I've got everything stripped and ready to go, just need the time and the money. I couldn't really tell from the pics, but what did they do up at the firewall? I'm debating what to do about the cardboard...it looks like they just hit it with the liner a little bit. Looks great man, I can't wait for mine to be done!

yea, they hit the cardboard. If you have the time, strip everything out and have them go higher.

I thought it was quieter with the LIne X, compared to bare stripped interior. There is still a lil more noise than if you had carpet and padding. The floor is warm, but not unbareable.

Did they ask permission to put that embossed "Line-X" on your bedside?

I'd have been pissed if a shop assumed that would be OK without asking first....

It looks awesome, and comfirms what I already know...... I WANT IT!! :waytogo:

:usaflag:

No, they didnt ask, and I was a bit put off by it. THe owners werent around. I dunno, but I think if ppl want to advertise they need to ask first and knock some money off. oh well.

I agree on not liking to have my rig be free advertising but, at least it's subtle! IDK about there but, around here, they assume the logo is going to go on and do it as standard practice (I got my Dmax Line-X ed in the bed and it has the logo). I think it looks kinda cool though, how it's integrated into the liner, I've actually gotten compliments on that logo. Anyways, the liner job looks great in there man, looking at yours makes me wanna get mine lined even more than I already did! :D

Well now we all know to remember to tell the shop NOT to put ANY advertizing on our rigs when we have it done. I would rather it be where I ask for a few stickers or something so I can put them where I want.

I know Rhino Liners use their tag to help with the lifetime warranty, maybe Line-X markes the truck for the same reason...?

That sounds like a cop-out answer by the vendor. You can easily track warranty issues using the truck VIN in their own database, and by indicating it on the receipt that the customer gets...

It's not the end of the world having that logo embossed there, but I'm going to great lengths not to have a bunch of logos all over my truck when it's finally built. I don't particularly even like the amount of places the factory puts "Chevrolet" or the bowtie logo....it's like they had an insecurity complex or something!
