Lining up hood

About to put my hood back on - right now I have the cowl and hinges removed as we'll. Do I need to leave the cowl off to have access to the hinge mounting bolts for alignment, or is all of the aligning done where the hinges bolt to the hood?

I'm guessing it's post 80.... yes, put the cowl on.. all adjustment is at the hood...
