see if any of you have had this issue putting blazer back together after 9 years apart and lock works fine with door open but once i close door and lock them i cant get them to unlock without basically banging on the latch at the lock pivot with a hammer or something heavy thought it was the lock cylinders causing the issue since i had just put them in but does it with or without them installed

did you try silicon spray lube on the pivot points in the door,
just sprayed mine and now the electric locks work

well i took mine appart in june and put it back together in september, and mine are not right either. befor i put everything back together i lubed it all up, and forgot which position the cylinder needed to be in. i put them in to where they were straight up and down and they kept binding up on me inside the door. i messed with them for a while and got them to work but looking at it, the key slot is at a 45* angle to where it should be stock, but they work. sometimes they binde up and i have to jiggle the key a little to get it going again. for me i can live with it, someday ill get bored and tear it appart again.

I have the same problem with my blazer. I have found with mine if they don't want to unlock easily sometimes trying to open them once then turning the key again they unlock.

got drivers door fixed lowered the striker pin and it works fine now but that didnt work on the passanger door
