I like my detroit in my 14bff...
I in drive snow and ice 50% of the year
Its better than driving a posi in ice, atleast you know when its going to stay locked as opposed to a posi locking one corner and not the next. I found that to be more dangerous than knowing whats going to happen.
That being said, it hops like a bastard around slow corners in the snow/ice, I also hate the driveline slop which is terrible noticeable with the 6.2/SM465 (if you hit a bump and your foot backs off & on the throttle its pretty bad, most time its not noticeable) and lastly the torque steer on the highway is weird.
I take the bad to know it will be there when I need it and to save the $400 over a ARB.
