planning on putting a locker in my 14 ff and Dana 44 any experience with either of these? Such as what brands to stay away from and other related info thanks . Also best bang for the buck!

ARBs are fantastic, you do get what you pay for
Detroit for the rear will work great, and is the most cost effective
Your choice in the front will probably be best chosen to what terrain you will see, and mods you are willing to do for the steering

Maybe I'll just do the rear I'm not gonna do a ton of wheeling but I wanna have fun when I got to pismo and hunting / playing in the mud , what kind of mods do you do to the steering ?
If you have much lift, cross over works great. I also boost the line pressure on the pump. I ran mine like this for years
