lockright and a/c questions

[84CUCV]

98 chevy silverado, with a 305 v8... the a/c pump is leaking, and i think all the freon is gone. i think the pump is shot as well. do i repair the pump, or just get a new one?


also, looking for more traction. would a lockright be a good way to go? thanks for the help! mike
