87 Jimmy being built by a newbie with Lofty Goals. Getting there slowly.
The NV4500 is bolted up and I am in the process of trying to get the doubler installed. This is as far as I’ve gotten so far. I bought this project in September of 2017 with this goal in mind. It’s been slow due to life, finances, and my lack of knowledge but eventually she will be running and driving again. Fun times.
What did the seats come from?
Are you getting the front seats from the same donor?
They came from a newer Tahoe. Got them for $100 off Craigslist. Price was way lower than most people ask and they were basically brand new since the guy pulled them and never used them. Not sure what I’m doing for the front seats just yet.
you need new HOA leadership(no gearheads in it i guess). i would want to look at that every day on my way to work. did the previous owner do the full convertible conversion?
Had offers from people to buy it, lol. Think it was only reported because a home owner who rents out his house was trying to sell the rental. Yes, the conversion was already done and I bought the full hardtop with the truck....hard to find now it seems.
any updates? build is looking good!
