In October I got a new tire to replace on that had a slice in the tread. I kept the old one for a spare and when I got it I looked inside and found a piece of left over rubber from the molding proccess. This piece was about 15 inches long and 6" wide. There were also several smaller pieces.
A couple days ago I added BBs to my tires and just for S&Gs I Pulled the other three tires all the way off to check inside of them. And here is what I found in the two.
These came out of the two tires I had on the front. My other rear tire didn't have anything in it, which is why it and my other rear tire(the new one that was balanced) didn't cause death wobble when they were on the front.
That is the two halves of a 14FF carrier in the background for comparison. So, if you have trouble balancing your tires and someone else mounted them it might be in your best interest to have them pulled off the rims and checked for crap like this.
