When does the destruction start? Whats the plan?

[hijack] Where did you get the mega cool Jack Daniels banner in the garage? [/hijack]

Metro, don't hijack.... At least man up and get rid of your pics - this thread isn't about your truck.

ascuro, those rollers are all borrowed....when I found the truck, it was sitting on the rotors and drums, no clip, no windshield, and just looked trashy. Still does. I borrowed rollers to get it to the house, but I need to return them to my buddy's place.

ryan, I got the banner from a JD representative a couple years ago - he was setting up at a bar I was at, my friend and I posed for pics with "the product", and were given shirts, banner, and ;) samples.

As for the destruction, I'm gonna take out the 2.2 and 700R4 and offer them up for sale. Same for the rear axle (7.5" 10b).

From there....still thinking/planning. I have a TBI 350, 465, and triple stick doubler.... Decisions, decisions....

jus keep the 7.5" rear man. its plenty strong:haha:

you thinkin buggy possibly or mostly sheetmetal?

I don't know yet.... It's really a choice of keeping the bed on the frame, or not keeping it on. I'm leaning towards keeping the bed, 'cause I like the look - and, I know that over time, more tube will get added, and more sheetmetal will get tossed....

....I can't keep a truck intact, nor am I able to finish a build. I can't help BUT kill trucks I come into contact with.:weld::truck:

ur sig fits you nicely then :)

I was just being a grass pole and like you never hijacked a post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beside if you can't take the heat get a fire suite.......

yeah, I'm not seeing the point here... the entire drivetrain is being sold... entire body gotten rid of. Why not just use the $400 to buy tube for a buggy?

That was my point with the pics! Why buy that and waste $400 bucks when he got nothing for it. I guess some people just live in a special place :screwy:

It's a '94. Yes, it's a 700. Plus, I would think the cost to ship it would make it unreasonable.:D

And, as for anyone questioning why I bought it, your comments aren't welcome. WHY did I buy it? So I could build an S10....interesting concept, huh?!? Yes, I'm scraping everything on the frame except the body mounts.... Everything I need for a cab truck is already here - one stop shopping.

If you don't have anything constructive or meaningful to contribute, don't post. For everyone else who does, I'm all ears.

Who said I was getting rid of the body?

its not a 700... 4L60Es look just like 700R4s, but with another big electrical connector on top of the pan rail, and they started in '93.

Looks like a good start with alot of potential. When my 96 Blazer goes to hell Ive been thinking of building it into a rig. Then im not fighting a weak frame from the start.

Yea, I like how this thing is 'boxed at more than half the length of it - another reason I'm running it instead of that fullsize frame I used to have.
