One thing I like about these kits is the oil fill is only supplied so you can place it where you want:D . This is where I intend to put my plug but a little higher to increase oil capacity. I chose this side as my Hydro Assist ram will be mounted to the other side:D .

Sweet....Bring them to work on Monday so I can pick them up.

I will be in indoc on Mainside so it will be even closer to you:D . The boss for the fill plug measure 1 5/16" on the outside so I will not be able to have the hole punched on the buffalo press:( . I can take them in the car and then you can give me a call when you get ready to leave. I am not sure what my schedule will be but I am sure it is the standard talk for 50 min get a 10 min break.

I will call you when I feel like leaving work. Probably before lunch as I get tired of sitting around. Then I can head home, get the C25 refilled and start welding.
I will also pick up a hole saw for the fill plug.

I will take a fill plug with me (just the plug) and see if we have any hex stock in the shop to make a plug driver out of. I will get enough to cut it and have 2:D .

Get some hex stock and I will weld them into some craftsman sockets. That way it could be used with a ratchet.

Plus, for some odd reason, I like to weld on sockets.

That is what I was thinkin. I will also see if we have any 7/8 stock laying around to make a kingpin tool out of:D . I think I am going to have to go through mine again. The wife experienced death wobble for the first time this weekend. Lets just say she was not a happy camper and she wasn't even driving:D .

Started welding the covers.
Then I exceded the duty cycle of my littel MIG so it is time for a beer break.

More pics to come...

Still welding away at the first cover. I can run a bead for about a minute then it starts to cycle out like the wire speed is way too low. SO I am forced to drink beer while waiting for it too cool down a little.

Hopefully the weld come out OK. More pics later

Yeah. I have the outside of one cover done. Have not even started on the inside of it though. Most of the welds look pretty good....except for where the welder overheated, or the beer took over.
