In my oil pan:

Where do I start?

WOW! that looks just like my wifes Suburbans engine oil!

I found the problem, bad intake gaskets, leaking the coolant into the lifter galley, washed out the lube to the cam. caused a flat cam problem. Now I own stock in Summit Racing.
Call Craig Artzner at Summit, he is our local summit in, from CK5

No I wasn't in any water, the truck hasn't even seen off road for almost a year. It was running fine two days ago. I took it for about a 2 mile drive yesterday and it started overheating. I limped it back home and this is what i found today.

yeah i dont think 2 liter bottles in ur oil pan is good

Sounds like head gaskets, as mentioned above.

Every time I find that, it not only needs new gaskets, but there is usually a crack in the seat of an exhaust valve. Hope it's cheaper for you, good luck!

Well I said screw it. I have one head off now, and the other will be off tomorrow. I think I am going to replace the heads while I have it apart. I've been wanting to anyway.

i wish my truck made chocolate milk and mountain dew! lucky!!!:D. at least its on old SBC, no BS to deal with to fix it...well compared to a newer engine.
