Found a 90 chevy 1 ton dully crew cab flat bed. 350 fuel injected with 4 speed. needs new key and clylinder possibley a steering column? $900.00

What do you think?

Would a steering column out of a 85 K5 blazer swap out?

Take a close look at the column.
I dont think the Column out of a old Blazer will work. After 1987 IFS Trucks are completely different. One is column longer than the other and mount at the firewall is different.

If the truck is a chassis cab it'll be old body style..

Ok slight change of plans... Found a 88 chevy 1/2 ton long bed 4x4. for $1500! i know it is smaller but other then going wheeling i really dont have anything else to pull. and right know i have to borrow a trailer just for the truck for know. and the wife is more happier with the 88 so i get to spend more money! also it will be a daily drive so i can try sme different ideas on the k5!
