looking for a new welder, found this tonight

My buddy Craig just bought the miller 252 last spring, and I wanna say out the door with a bottle it was $2500.

Id definitely grab that thing up if I was you. Way better than spending another $1000 for little to no upgrade

That's the same one I have. I like it a lot. I haven't had any troubles with mine becides normal wear and tear

One thing I do like about that model is the steel rollers and gears along with the wire guide the keeps the wire in place in case you ever have a bind.

I just remembered. ....does someone local owe you a welder or $$

I use a 215 older model at work .

it will weld anything I have tossed at it . and I have yet to max it out .

That was taken care of a long time ago.

I'd snag that in a heartbeat.

IMO a used red or blue machine is the way to go for any hobby guy looking for a welder - there's plenty of them out there, the quality of either is widely known, they typically come with accessories, and the prices can be great.

I own it. Guy has a storage facility next to his shop. I paid 1500 for a year of storage, got a welder for free. No sales tax and I don't have to pay personal property taxes on it. Yea.

Eastwood tools has a 175 amp with a spool gun for $540.00 and it has a three year warranty. Been welding since 1960, used about every machine on the market have owned mostly Miller. Been looking around for a small wire feed and spool gun, this looks good. Spool gun from Miller is over $600.00 by it self.
