I agree about the machine. I have used one of those others and loved it. My problem was I was having to tap hundreds of holes on vertical surfaces, or on machines that were too big to lay under the tapper.
That Sioux drill, which I don't see on their website, had the chuck at about a 70 degree angle instead of a full 90, and made getting them straight a lot easier than normal.
Later, when I was having to do a lot of drilling and tapping 10-32 holes, I used some of the drill/tap combinations.
Really sped things up. It had the correct sized drill bit on the end followed by the tap. Combine that with a quick reversible drill, you can really go to town.
