What about putting the clutch on a hand lever on the shifter handle? Run the cable to a hydro master cyl. Pull in the clutch lever and shift w/the same hand. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Looking for alternative methods for actuating the clutch

1.
try a gear release handle like on an automatic tranny to actuate the cylinder or
2.
move the hand clutch to a right handed bike or motorcycle grip that mounted 90 degrees to the shifter knob. you can shift and clutch at the same time. would just take some trial and error to get it to work right with the hydraulic setup.
