looking for any and all info for swapping in a bbc in a duece

Well the duece runs a 8.2 diesel hooked up to an 4 speed allison. And A old c60 that had the 427 had allison's also, so theoretically if i could find the adapter plate from a c60 i should be able to bolt a 454 up to the duece.

OK, so be the first.
Remember though, that these were built to turn 55 MPH at a max of 3000 rpm so A 454 of any build is gonna make it fly.

This was going to be my suggestion too. You'll get some slack for not keeping it factory over on SS... but, there is TONS of tech on that site, and guys that know the trucks inside and out.
not as much slack in the hot rod section i linked him to tho.
